Silicon Carbide Flap Disc
The Sic flaps are made of overlapping coated abrasives flaps and secure them securely to the back plate. This design provides cooler running and more durable discs. And because new abrasive layers are constantly exposed, the disc provides a very consistent finish over its life. These disks are particularly recommended for high inventory clearance of stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, and most alloys. They provide many times the life of traditional resin fiber discs.
